Three burglaries were reported in the city last night at a gurdwara  Jalandhar, and at a provisional store in the Harnamdaspura
The first burglary was reported at New Baradari, Jalandhar, where miscreants struck at a gurdwara and decamped with the cash chest.
The gurdwara sewadar Joginder Singh said when he came to the place in the morning, he found the cash chest missing
The second theft was reported in the Harnamdaspura  where miscreants struck at a provisional store.
After decamping with goods and cash, thieves also reportedly set the shop on fire.
The shop owner, Kamal, told mediapersons that in the wee hours, he was informed by some persons about the fire that broke out at his shop.
When he reached the spot, he found the whole shop engulfed in flames. Even the locks of the shutter were broken.
The police  started  investigation.
