Four armed persons, who came in an Accent car, looted a jewellery shop at Hargobind Nagar in Phagwara tonight.
The robbers went inside the Radhey Diamonds shop and asked shop owners Mohit and Rakesh to show some jewellery. After the shopkeepers displayed some sets before them, the robbers took into their possession six diamond sets, two mobile phones and a laptop and succeeded to run from the shop. A loss of more than Rs 25 lakh has been reported. The police said a hunt is on to nab the robbers.
