LUDHIANA:  Students of Government Primary School in Moti Nagar, who were forced to attend classes in the open and battle extreme weather conditions, will get a roof on their heads soon as the district administration, education department and police have decided to convert an unoccupied building that was used to be a police station into a school specially for these kids.
The school in Moti Nagar was declared unsafe in the beginning of the session in July this year after which classes were shifted to a nearby gurdwara.
The school functioned from the gurdwara only for a few days. Afterwards classes were held in an open ground near the school since then. Students were left helpless in the summer, whole rainy season and winter.
