New Delhi- Security around the country's airports has been stepped up and all anti-hijacking measures put in place on Sunday after intelligence agencies warned of a possible hijack attempt.

The alert comes a day after Air India's Kolkata office received an anonymous phone call informing that an Air India plane would be hijacked.
